Jump Rope

The solid wood Jump Rope reconsiders a familiar training tool through material, craft, and proportion. Designed and made in Los Angeles, it pairs solid domestic hardwood handles with a precision speed cable, balancing performance with a tactile, enduring presence and style.

Available in Black Walnut and finished with a natural linseed oil and wax, or Maple and Ash, left unfinished to develop character through use. The Ash variation is wrapped in leather and hand-stitched with waxed linen thread, creating a grip that softens and deepens over time. Whichever option you choose, the result is a jump rope that feels grounded in the hand, responsive, balanced, and built for daily movement.

The galvanized steel speed cable is designed for smooth rotation and consistent rhythm, with two weight options to suit different training styles from conditioning and cardio to speed-focused workouts.

Part of the Coyote Collection, the jump rope reflects an ongoing interest in elevating essential objects. Materials are chosen not for uniformity, but for their ability to evolve, marking time through subtle shifts in tone, texture, and surface. Each piece is made with a combination of traditional craftsmanship and advanced production techniques, with a focus on longevity and responsible material sourcing.

A training tool, refined to its essentials and designed to wear in, not out.

The Coyote Collection is a small batch, handmade wood and leather collection made in Los Angeles as an experiment in elevating everyday objects. embraces organic imperfection and the magnetism of the irregular, looking to the golden landscapes of California, especially its rugged oak-dotted hillsides, for inspiration. Kalon collections are built in the United States using a mix of traditional and highly technological methods and a 360 degree approach to sustainability.

Made in Los Angeles

• Adjustable length.
• Galvanized steel speed cable.
• Available in two cable weights: Ultra Fast or Resistance.

The speed cable is a thin and light, allowing for very fast rotations. The resistance cable is a thicker, heavier cable that is slightly more difficult to move than the speed cable. As such it makes for a more challenging cardio workout. If you’re looking for max reps in the shortest amount of time without burning out, then the speed cable is your go to. If you’re looking to tire yourself out as fast as possible, then you’ll want to use the resistance cable.
