Solid wood crib that plays with classic form and contemporary, ultra-bold colors. Designed with longevity and flexibility in mind, the crib converts as is to a platform style toddler-bed that can be used as seating well beyond the nursery years.

Uncompromising in design and quality, the Caravan Crib is sustainably made from the highest quality, natural materials in the United States by the finest traditional craftspeople.

Pairs with Kalon’s Dream No. 1 Mattress. 100% Natural, Organic, Made in the USA. Converts to the Caravan Divan with the Caravan Conversion Kit.

The heirloom quality, fixed-side frame is made from solid, domestic Maple and features a 2-point adjustable mattress height (mattress support is made from solid wood veneer plywood). All the lumber used is sustainably harvested. The Raw option is sanded to a smooth finish so that you can select your own finish or enjoy the wood in its pure state. The exposed wood parts of the colored cribs are finished with an oil-wax finish that carries an SCS Indoor Advantage Gold Certification. The colored rails use a water-based GreenGuard certified finish. These materials were thoughtfully selected to offer a piece with no toxins and no off-gassing for the environment, the craftspeople and you.

Made from solid, domestic Maple. Mattress support is solid wood veneer plywood. Raw option has no finish. Color options have both a natural, non-toxic oil/wax finish and a water-based, GreenGuard certified lacquer finish.

DO NOT use this crib if you cannot exactly follow the accompanying instructions. • Use a crib mattress that is no thicker than 15 cm and is of such a size that, when pushed firmly against any side of the crib, does not leave a gap of more than 3 cm between the mattress and any part of the sides of the crib. • To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician. GENERAL WARNINGS • Check this product for damaged hardware, loose joints, loose bolts or other fasteners, missing parts, or sharp edges before and after assembly and frequently during use. Securely tighten loose bolts and other fasteners. DO NOT use crib if any parts are missing, damaged or broken. Contact Kalon Studios for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts. • If refinishing, use a non-toxic finish specified for children’s products. • Follow warnings on all products in a crib. SUFFOCATION WARNINGS • Strings can cause strangulation! DO NOT place items with a string around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. DO NOT suspend strings over a crib or attach strings to toys. DO NOT place crib near or within reach of a window or door where cords from blinds or drapes may strangle a child. • To help prevent strangulation tighten all fasteners. A child can trap parts of the body or clothing on loose fasteners. FALL HAZARDS • When child is able to pull to a standing position, set mattress to lowest position and remove bumper pads, large toys and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out. • DO NOT use this crib for a child who can climb out of it or who is taller than 89 cm. The child should be placed in a toddler bed or regular bed.
