Available as toddler size bed or as conversion kit for the Echo Crib.
A singularly simple piece. Each surface is gently sculpted so that the piece slopes in at both the top and bottom, giving a soft cradling effect and lending a beautiful, unified quality to the form. Edges are rounded over and soft.
One of the most important considerations of the design is the freedom the bed gives the child who uses it. Graduating from a crib to a bed is a milestone for children that should be fully experienced. For this reason, the bed is set low to the ground allowing them to climb in and out with ease, building confidence and a sense of independence. The sides also clearly define the space of the bed, in a womb like way, as the child’s own.
Made of 100% FSC Certified Maple and made to order in the USA by traditional craftsmen in New England. The wood is finished with a non-toxic wood oil we developed that is safe for humans and the environment.

KEEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE. •The mattress intended for use on the bed shall be a full-size crib mattress having minimum dimensions of 51 5⁄8 in. (1310 mm) in length, 27 1⁄4 in. (690 mm) in width and 4 in. (100 mm) in thickness. •Before each usage or assembly, inspect toddler bed for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. DO NOT use toddler bed if any parts are missing or broken. Ask your dealer or write to Kalon Studios for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts. •DO NOT place toddler bed near window where cords from blinds or drapes may strangle a child. •Strings can cause strangulation! DO NOT place items with a string around a child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords. DO NOT suspend strings over a toddler bed for any reason. •If refinishing, use a non-toxic finish specified for children’s products. •Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers because they can cause suffocation. •DO NOT use a water mattress with this toddler bed.
