Caravan Crib
Crafted from solid wood and designed to support a child’s earliest years—and well beyond, the Caravan Crib offers a lasting approach to nursery furniture. Built with longevity and adaptability at its core, our modern convertible solid wood crib converts as-is into two toddler bed configurations: a three-walled toddler bed and a platform-style toddler bed that can also function as seating beyond the nursery. With the addition of the Caravan Conversion Kit, the crib further converts into the Caravan Divan, extending its use for years to come.
Each crib is made from solid Ash, White Oak, or Black Walnut and finished by hand with Kalon’s premium, organic, non-toxic oil/wax finishes. Designed for use in a child’s environment, all finishes are free from off-gassing and meet U.S., Australian, and European crib safety standards.

Material coordination
The Caravan Crib and Conversion Kit are crafted from Ash and produced in Europe, while the remaining pieces in the Caravan Collection are crafted from Maple and produced in the United States. This regional approach supports responsible sourcing and local production practices. Finishes are carefully matched to ensure visual consistency across all pieces in the Caravan Collection.
Oiled vs. Raw
The Oiled option is finished with Kalon’s oil/wax finish, developed to preserve the natural appearance of the wood while providing protection against moisture and staining. The Raw option is left unfinished for those who prefer no applied finish or plan to finish the crib themselves. When new, the two options appear virtually identical.
