Rugosa Chair Cedar
An adaptation of the Rugosa Chair for the outdoors, this piece is made from broad planks of Cedar and upholstered in GREENGUARD Certified, outdoor-rated textiles. The Rugosa Chair is also available in Sugar Pine and Black Walnut for indoor use, with each wood species bringing its own tone, grain, and character.
Proportions were designed to welcome cross-legged seating and long hours of reading or conversation. Juxtaposing clean lines with trillium fill cushions that resist rigid perfection, the chair exudes a casual elegance that feels deeply comforting. Available in three colors—Carmine, Clay, and Sand—with COM (customer’s own material) available upon request. Wood is hand-rubbed with a premium exterior oil finish to protect against weathering and discoloration. With age and exposure, the chair will develop a soft silvery patina that enhances its character over time.

• The selected textile features a PFAS-free, environmentally-focused finish, which is water-repellent and fast-drying. It also provides resistance against chlorine, seawater and artificial weathering and is flame-retardant. In addition to its technical features, it also stands out for a soft touch compared to other outdoor fabrics. Suitable for all outdoor spaces, as well as other areas, like spas and indoor pools, where high-humidity and chlorine are a factor.
