Elegant and architectural, the chair is designed to move fluidly between indoor and outdoor settings.
The Material Studies Series is an ongoing exploration of a material’s influence on design and space. Adapted from Rugosa’s pared-down forms, the series reimagines familiar silhouettes in aluminum and outdoor-rated textiles—examining how color, texture, and finish transform both object and environment.

• The selected textile features a PFAS-free, environmentally-focused finish, which is water-repellent and fast-drying. It also provides resistance against chlorine, seawater and artificial weathering and is flame-retardant. In addition to its technical features, it also stands out for a soft touch compared to other outdoor fabrics. Suitable for all outdoor spaces, as well as other areas, like spas and indoor pools, where high-humidity and chlorine are a factor.
