The Material Studies II Coffee Table pairs a mirrored aluminum base with a substantial slab of quartzite or marble. A simple, symmetrical X‑leg establishes its stance, its slender silver frame tracing a precise outline beneath the stone.

The mirrored base captures and refracts its surroundings, pulling light, color, and movement into its surface. As the day shifts, edges extend and dissolve, subtly altering the perception of depth and mass. Above, richly pigmented stone—high‑gloss, veined, and saturated—introduces weight and tonal variation.
